This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in the National Security Act 2023 (Consequential Amendments of Primary Legislation) Regulations 2023 (S.I. 2023/1386) and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 95 of the National Security Act 2023(1).
In accordance with section 96(5) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation, commencement and extent
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Security Act 2023 (Consequential Amendment of Primary Legislation) Regulations 2025.
(2) They come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(3) They extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Consequential amendment of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2019 (Deddf Ombwdsmon Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus (Cymru) 2019)
2.—(1) The Welsh language text of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2019 (Deddf Ombwdsmon Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus (Cymru) 2019)(2) is amended as follows.
(2) In section 69(2)(g)(i), after “1989 (p.6)” insert “, neu o dan adrannau 1 i 4 neu 18 o Ddeddf Diogelwch Cenedlaethol 2023 (p.32)”.
