ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Pollution Prevention and Control (Fees) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2025

The Secretary of State(1) makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(1) of, and paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018(2), sections 110A(1), 110A(2) and 316(1) of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009(3), section 82OA(1) and (2) of the Energy Act 2008(4) and section 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995(5).
The Secretary of State has obtained the consent of the Treasury in accordance with section 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 and paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
In accordance with paragraphs 12(1) and 38 of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation, commencement and extent
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pollution Prevention and Control (Fees) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2025.
(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
