The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Football Spectators Act 1989(1), having consulted the Sports Grounds Safety Authority in accordance with section 11(4) of that Act.

Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Football Spectators (Seating) (Amendment) (England) Order 2025, and comes into force on 2nd August 2025.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment to the Football Spectators (Seating) Order 2022

2.—(1) The Football Spectators (Seating) Order 2022(2) is amended as follows.

(2) In Schedule 2 (premises to which the requirements in Schedule 1 must apply), for the first column of the entry for Goodison Park, occupied by Everton Football Club, substitute—
