The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 118(1)(z5) of the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025(1).

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2026 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which these Regulations are made.

Provision coming into force the day after the day on which these Regulations are made

2. Section 49 (installation of electric vehicle charge points) of the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025 comes into force on the day after the day on which these Regulations are made.
