Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 (Amendment) Order 2026 and comes into force on the 28th day after the day on which it is made.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Amendments to the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990

2.—(1) Schedule 2 to the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 (substances useful for manufacturing controlled drugs) is amended as follows.

(2) In Table I—

(a)after “N-Acetylanthranilic Acid” insert—

• “4-Anilino-N-phenethylpiperidine (also referred to as ANPP)

• tert-Butyl 4-oxopiperidine-1-carboxylate (also referred to as 1-boc-4-piperidone)

• tert-Butyl 4-(phenylamino)piperidine-1-carboxylate (also referred to as 1-boc-4-AP)”;

(b)after “Lysergic acid” insert—

• “3,4-MDP-2-P methyl glycidic acid (also referred to as PMK glycidic acid)”;

(c)after “3,4 Methylenedioxy-Phenyl-2-Propanone” insert—

• “Methyl alpha-phenylacetoacetate (also referred to as MAPA)”;

(d)after “Norephedrine” insert—

• “N-Phenethyl-4-piperidone (also referred to as NPP)

• N-phenyl-N-(piperidin-4-yl)propanamide (also referred to as norfentanyl)

• alpha-Phenylacetoacetamide (also referred to as APAA)

• alpha-Phenylacetoacetonitrile (also referred to as APAAN)

• N-Phenyl-4-piperidinamine (also referred to as 4-AP)”;

(e)after “1-Phenyl-2-propanone” insert—

• “P-2-P methyl glycidic acid (also referred to as BMK glycidic acid)

• 4-Piperidone”.

(3) After Table I insert—
