The Distress for Rent (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2000

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 8 of the Law of Distress Amendment Act 1888( 1 ) and section 3 of the Law of Distress Amendment Act 1895( 2 ), hereby makes the following Rules:—

1. These Rules may be cited as the Distress for Rent (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2000 and shall come into force on 1st December 2000.

2. In Appendix 3 to the Distress for Rent Rules 1988( 3 ), the entry relating to Caerphilly shall be deleted.
