The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, being designated( 1 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 2 ) in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, makes the following Regulations:

Title, extent and commencement

2. These Regulations may be cited as the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2001; they extend to England and come into force at 11.45 p.m. on 18th May 2001.

Amendment to the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) Regulations 2001

2. —(1)The Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) Regulations 2001( 3 ) are amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2) In paragraph (2) of regulation 1 of those Regulations, for “18th May 2001”, substitute “19th June 2001”.
