The Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment) Order 2003

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 8B(5) of the Immigration Act 1971( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is laid before Parliament.

Amendment of the 2000 Order

2. In Part 2 of the Schedule to the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000( 2 ), after โ€œCommon Position 2000/346/CFSP of 26th April 2000 (Burma)โ€, there shall be inserted โ€œCommon Position 2002/831/CFSP of 21st October 2002 (Burma)โ€.
