The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 75 and 104(1) of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991( 1 ) hereby makes the following Regulations:—

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Inspection Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.

Preliminary

2.The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (England) Regulations 2002( 2 ) shall be amended as follows.

Amendment to regulation 3 (inspection fees)

3. In regulation 3, in paragraphs (1) and (8), for “£20.00” there shall be substituted “£21.00”.

1991 c. 22 . The functions of the Secretary of State under sections 75 and 104(1) are transferred, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, to the National Assembly for Wales by the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672 ), article 2 and Schedule 1.
