The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 144(3)(b) and (14) of the Transport Act 2000( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 9th January 2006.

Approved local authorities

2. —(1)The Schedule to the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) Order 2005( 2 ) shall be amended as follows.

(2) After the item in the table relating to East Sussex County Council there shall be inserted the following item—

Elmbridge Borough Council S.I. 2005/3406
