The First Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 149(3)(a) and 333(7) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Blight Provisions) (England) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st April 2005.

(2) This Order applies to England.

Limit of annual value

2. The amount prescribed for the purposes of section 149(3)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 is £29,200.

Revocation

3.The Town and Country Planning (Blight Provisions) (England) Order 2000( 2 ) is hereby revoked.

1990 c. 8 , to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order. The Secretary of State can exercise the power under sections 149 and 333 only in relation to England: see article 2 of Schedule 1 to S.I 1999/672 as varied by article 4 of and Schedule 3, para (d) to S.I. 2000/253 (W.5) .
