The Asylum Support (Interim Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 15 of Schedule 9 to the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 ( 1 ) and having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 167(1) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Asylum Support (Interim Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 3rd April 2005.

Extension of the interim period in the Asylum Support (Interim Provisions) Regulations 1999

2. In regulation 2(5) of the Asylum Support (Interim Provisions) Regulations 1999 ( 2 ) for the words “4th April 2005” there is substituted “3rd April 2006”.
