The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21(3) and 22(1)(i) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994( 1 ) and by virtue of the Department for Transport (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration Fees) Order 2003( 2 ).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st May 2007.
Amendment of Regulations
2. The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002( 3 ) shall be amended in accordance with the following regulations.
3. In regulation 10 (registration and issue of registration document), in paragraph (1) for “£38” there shall be substituted “£50”.
4. In the regulations referred to in column (1) of the Table below, in the paragraphs referred to in column (2) thereof, for “£19” there shall be substituted “£25”.
