The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Fees) (England) Order 2007

The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 84(1) of the Animal Health Act 1981( 1 ), and with the approval of the Treasury, makes the following Order.

Title, application and commencement

1. This Order—

(a) may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Fees) (England) Order 2007;

(b) applies in England; and

(c) comes into force on 3rd September 2007.

Fees for applications for the approval of disinfectants

2. A person who applies for a disinfectant to be approved under article 3 of the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (England) Order 2007( 2 ) must, when applying, pay to the Secretary of State the fees set out in the second column of the Schedule.

Revocation

3. The Diseases of Animals (Fees for the Testing of Disinfectants) (England) Order 2005( 3 ) is revoked.

Diseases of Poultry 923 (if one dilution rate is specified by the person applying for approval of the disinfectant)

3. Fee for testing for approval for use in all other instances where there is a legislative requirement to use an approved disinfectant 645

1981, c. 22 ; see section 86(1) for definitions of “the Minister” and “the Ministers”. Functions of “the Ministers”, so far as exercisable in relation to England, were transferred to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by article 2 of the Transfer of Functions (Agriculture and Food) Order 1999 ( S.I. 1999/3141 ) and functions of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food were transferred to the Secretary of State by article 2 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Dissolution) Order 2002 ( S.I. 2002/794 ).
