The Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) Order 2007

The Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 216(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988( 1 ):
Citation, commencement, application and revocation
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) Order 2007 and comes into force on 1st October 2007.
(2) This Order only applies in relation to England( 2 ).
(3) The following Orders are revoked––
(a) the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) Order 2003( 3 ), and
(b) the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) (Amendment) Order 2005( 4 ).
Recognised Bodies
2. The bodies specified in the Schedule are designated as bodies which appear to the Secretary of State to be recognised bodies.
