The Secretary of State, being a Minister designated( 1 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 2 ) in relation to measures relating to access to the labour market of the United Kingdom, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by that section, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement I1

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 2nd April 2007.

(2) Regulations 2 and 3 shall not have effect in relation to an application for a registration certificate under regulation 8 of the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) Regulations 2004( 3 ) made before 2nd April 2007.

2. In regulation 8(4)(a) of the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) Regulations 2004, for “£70”( 4 ) substitute “£90”.

Revocation I3

3. The Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2005( 5 ) are revoked.
