The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by paragraph 2 of Schedule 9 to the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007( 1 ).
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Membership of the Tribunal Procedure Committee Transitional Order 2008 and shall come into force on 19th May 2008.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007.

2. —(1) The person listed as entry number 1 in the first column of the Table, being appointed as a legal member of the scheduled tribunal in the corresponding entry in the second column of the Table, shall be treated as falling within the sub-paragraph of paragraph 22 of Schedule 5 to the Act in the corresponding entry in the third column of the Table.
(2) The persons listed as entries number 2 and 3 of the first column of the Table, being appointed as the scheduled tribunal in the corresponding entry in the second column of the Table, shall be treated as falling within the sub-paragraph of paragraph 22 of Schedule 5 to the Act in the corresponding entry in the third column of the Table.
