The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22 and 42(6) of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998( 1 ):
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 1st September 2009.
Amendment of the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (No. 2) Regulations 2006
2.The Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (No.2) Regulations 2006( 2 ) are amended as follows—
(a) in regulation 17(3), for “27,115 euro” substitute “28,200 euro”;
(b) in regulation 19(4), for “6,000 euro” substitute “5,000 euro if studying at Natolin campus, Poland and 7,000 euro if studying at Bruges campus, Belgium”.

3. In the Schedule to the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2008( 3 ) in the entry for Regulation 18(3), for “11,378 euro” substitute “13,450 euro”.
