The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2009

The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 15 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2009 and comes into force on 21st December 2009.

Designation of rural primary schools.

2. The schools published on the Department for Children, Schools and Families’ website in a list called “Designated Rural Primary Schools” on 21st December 2009 are designated as rural primary schools in England.

Revocation

3.The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2008( 2 ) is revoked.
