The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9(3) of the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc ) Act 1985( 1 ) makes the following Order.

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Amendment) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 26th May 2011.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment to the Sporting Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 2005

2. —(1) The Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 2005( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In Part 1 of Schedule 2 after “Welsh Premier League,” insert “or whose home ground is for the time being situated outside England and Wales,”.
