The Office of Communications (β€œOFCOM”), in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18(1)(b) and Schedule 2, paragraph 1 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006( 1 ) (β€œthe Act”), make the following Regulations.

Before making the Regulations, OFCOM have given notice of their proposal to do so in accordance with section 122(4)(a) of the Act, published notice of their proposal in accordance with section 122(4)(b) of the Act and have considered the representations made to them before the time specified in the notice in accordance with section 122(4)(c) of the Act.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Crown Recognised Spectrum Access) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 14th March 2011.

Amendment of the Wireless Telegraphy (Crown Recognised Spectrum Access) Regulations 2009

2. The Schedule to the Wireless Telegraphy (Crown Recognised Spectrum Access) Regulations 2009( 2 ) is amended by inserting, after β€œ429–430 Megahertz”—

β€œ 3400–3480 Megahertz
3500–3580 Megahertz ”
