The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 537(1) of the Education Act 1996( 1 ):
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the School Information (England) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2013 and come into force on 12th December 2013.
Amendment of the School Information (England) Regulations 2008
2. —(1) The School Information (England) Regulations( 2 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In Schedule 4 (specified information to be published on a school’s website)—
(a) for paragraph 4(a), substitute—
“ (a) “% achieving Level 4 or above in Reading, Writing and Maths” ” ; and
(b) for paragraph 4(c), substitute—
“ (c) in relation to Reading and Writing, “% achieving Level 5 or above” ” .

Relevant amendments to section 537 have been made by paragraph 37 of Schedule 7 to the Education Act 1997 (c.44) , paragraph 152(a) of Schedule 30 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c.31) and paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to S.I. 2010/1158 . See section 579 of the Education Act 1996 for the definitions of “prescribed” and “regulations”.
