Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations with the consent of the Treasury( 1 ), in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 68(1), (10) and (12), and 69(1) of the Immigration Act 2014( 2 ).

These Regulations are made pursuant to the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Order 2015( 3 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into force the day after the day they are laid before Parliament.

Amendment to the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Regulations 2015

2. —(1) The Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Regulations 2015( 4 ) are amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

(2) In paragraph 1 of Schedule 2, in the definition of “Article 3 or Refugee Convention application” –

(a) omit sub-paragraph (c); and

(b) in sub-paragraph (e) omit “who does not come within paragraph (c)”.
