The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(4) of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 14th November 2016.
Amendment of the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 2000
2. β(1) The Schedule to the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 2000( 2 ) is amended as follows.
(2) After paragraph 3 insertβ
β 3A. section 31(1)(c) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 ( 3 ) (offence of racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress); β .
