The Secretary of State makes these Regulations, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Plant Health (Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into force on 6th March 2017.

Amendment of the Plant Health (Fees) (England) Regulations 2014

2. In the table in Schedule 2 to the Plant Health (Fees) (England) Regulations 2014(import inspection fees: reduced rates)( 2 ), under the heading “Fruit”, for the entry for Mexico, substitute—
