The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(2)(a) and (6) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2018 and come into force on 1st December 2018.

Amendment to the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) Regulations 2013

2.Regulation 3 of the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) Regulations 2013( 2 ) is amended as followsβ€”

(a) in paragraph (6)(f), after β€œ2018” insert β€œ(but before 1st December 2018)”;

(b) after paragraph (6)(f) insertβ€”

β€œ (g) on or after 1st December 2018, Β£678.70. ” .
