Her Majesty, in exercise of the power conferred upon Her by section 37(2) of the British Nationality Act 1981( 1 ), by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, orders as follows.
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the British Nationality (The Gambia) Order 2018 and comes into force on 22nd June 2018.
Amendment of Schedule 3 to the British Nationality Act 1981
2. In Schedule 3 to the British Nationality Act 1981( 2 ) (countries whose citizens are Commonwealth citizens), insert “The Gambia” at the appropriate place.
