The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 45(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (BPP University Limited) Order of Council 2013 (Amendment) Order 2019 and shall come into force on 1st September 2019.

Variation of Power to Award Degrees etc. (BPP University Limited) Order of Council 2013

2. —(1) The Power to Award Degrees etc. (BPP University Limited) Order of Council 2013 is varied in accordance with paragraph (2).

(2) For paragraph 2, substitute—

“ 2. BPP University Limited shall be competent to grant awards of the kind mentioned in paragraph (a) of section 76(2) of the said Act for a fixed seven- year term beginning on 1st September 2013 and expiring on 31st August 2020. ”
