Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2020 and comes into force on 1st February 2021.

Designation as body subject to investigation

2. The NHS Counter Fraud Authority( 2 ) is designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2(1) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner for England) applies.
