Coming into force

1st September 2021

The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (TEDI-London) Order 2021 and shall come into force on 1st September 2021.

Competence to grant awards

2. TEDI-London shall be competent to grant the following specified taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(b) of the said Act:

(a) BEng in Global Design Engineering;

(b) BEng (Hons) in Global Design Engineering;

(c) MEng in Global Design Engineering;

(d) CertHE in Global Design Engineering; and

(e) DipHE in Global Design Engineering.

3. TEDI-London shall only be competent to grant the specified taught awards mentioned in article 2 of this Order for a fixed term beginning on 1st September 2021 and expiring on 30th November 2024.

4. TEDI-London shall only grant the awards specified in article 2 of this Order to persons enrolled with it at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted.
