Content is derived from publicly available sources, including legislation.gov.uk and the National Archives. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice. UK legislation is subject to Crown Copyright and is reproduced under the terms of the Open Government Licence v3.0. The compilation, enhancements, annotations, cross-references, navigation features, search indexes, and overall presentation of content on zoomLaw are the intellectual property of zoomLaw and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from these materials without express written permission.

4. Prohibited Use — Data Harvesting & Scraping

The following activities are expressly prohibited:

Automated scraping, crawling, data mining, screen scraping, or any other automated means of extracting content from the Site.
Bulk downloading, systematic extraction, or programmatic reproduction of any data, documents, or datasets from the Site.
Use of bots, spiders, web crawlers, automated scripts, or any software tools designed to access, index, or collect data from the Site without prior written authorisation.
Building or contributing to derivative databases, datasets, or competing services using content obtained from the Site.
Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with any security, access-control, or rate-limiting features of the Site.

Breach of this section may result in immediate termination of access without notice. We actively monitor for automated access and reserve the right to block IP addresses, pursue injunctive relief, and seek damages for any losses arising from unauthorised data harvesting. Legal proceedings may be brought under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and any other applicable legislation.

Account information — managed via our authentication provider (Clerk), including your name, email address, and login credentials.
Analytics data — anonymised usage statistics collected via Google Analytics to help us improve the service.

Our lawful bases for processing are legitimate interests (operating and improving the service) and consent (where applicable). We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below.

8. Cookies

The Site uses a limited number of cookies:
