The Transport Act 2000 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2005

The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 275(1) of the Transport Act 2000( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 2000 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2005.
2. In this Order, “the Act” means the Transport Act 2000 .
Provisions coming into force on 15th October 2005
3. The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 15th October 2005:
-
Section 223;
-
Section 274, in so far as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 31 of the Act brought into force by this Order; and
-
The entry in Part 4 of Schedule 31 relating to section 129 of the Railways Act 1993( 2 ).

S.I. 2001/57 was amended by S.I. 2001/115 (C.5) as respects the entries for sections 212 to 215, 232 to 240, 255, 256, 261, 262, 264, 266 and 268 and Schedules 16, 25 and 30.
S.I. 2002/658 was amended by S.I. 2002/ 846 (C. 23) as respects the entry for section 274.
