The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973( 1 ) and by virtue of the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 1988( 2 ).

In relation to the exercise of her powers under the Finance Act 1973 she has the consent of the Treasury.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Approval of Fitters and Workshops) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 13th July 2008.

Increase in fees

2. In regulation 3 of the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Approval of Fitters and Workshops) (Fees) Regulations 1986( 3 ), for β€œΒ£328” substitute β€œΒ£344” and for β€œΒ£134” substitute β€œΒ£141”.
