The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 21(3) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 ( 1 ) and by virtue of the Department for Transport (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration Fees) Order 2003.( 2 )

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on the 1 st April 2008.

Amendment of Regulations

2. In regulation 10 of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002( 3 ) (registration and issue of registration document), in paragraph (1) for “£50” there shall be substituted “£55”.
