The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000( 1 ).

The Secretary of State believes that the organisations to be added to Schedule 2 to that Act by article 2 of this Order are concerned in terrorism.

In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2014 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Proscribed organisations

2. In Schedule 2 to the Terrorism Act 2000 (proscribed organisations)( 2 ), after the entry for Imarat Kavkaz (Caucasus Emirate), insert the following entriesβ€”

β€œ Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem)

Al Murabitun

Ansar al Sharia – Tunisia ” .
