Coming into force -

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 123(4)(a) of the Education Act 2002( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into force on 1st September 2022.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment of the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019

2. —(1) The School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019 ( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In article 2(2) (incentive payments to school teachers)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (b) omit “and”; and

(b) after sub-paragraph (c) insert—

“ and

(d) the Levelling Up Premium, ” .
