The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2024

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by article 97(1) of the Air Navigation Order 2016( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into force on 9th January 2025.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Amendment of the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002

2.The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002( 2 ) are amended by substituting for the definition of “Technical Instructions” in regulation 3(1)—

Technical Instructions ” means the 2025-2026 English language edition of the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air ( 3 ) , approved and published by decision of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation; .
