Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 1 ).
The Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to energy and energy sources( 2 ).
Citation and commencement
(2) This regulation and regulation 3 come into force on the 21st day after the day on which these Regulations are laid before Parliament.
(3) Regulation 2 comes into force on 1st March 2020.
Amendment of the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010
(a) in the first column of entry 18 in the table, omit βor a computer serverβ;

Amendment of the Energy Information Regulations 2011
3. In the table in Schedule 1 to the Energy Information Regulations 2011( 5 ) (EU measures), omit the entry for vacuum cleaners.
