The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 103(2)(a) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.
Citation and Commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 1st April 2020.
Amendments to the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) Regulations 2013
2. Regulation 3 of the Recovery of Costs (Remand to Youth Detention Accommodation) Regulations 2013( 2 ) is amended as follows—
(a) in paragraph (4)(f), after “2019” insert “(but before 1st April 2020)”;
(b) after paragraph (4)(f), insert—
“ (g) on or after 1st April 2020, £321. ” ;
(c) in paragraph (5)(k), after “2019” insert “(but before 1st April 2020)”;
(d) after paragraph (5)(k), insert—
“ (l) on or after 1st April 2020, £453. ” ;
(e) in paragraph (6)(h), after “2019” insert “(but before 1st April 2020)”;
(f) after paragraph (6)(h) insert—
“ (i) on or after 1st April 2020, £762. ” .
