The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 123(4)(a) of the Education Act 2002( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into force on 1st September 2023.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment of the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019

2. —(1) The School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In article 2(2) (incentive payments to school teachers)

(a) in sub-paragraph (c) omit “and”; and

(b) after sub-paragraph (d) insert—

and

(e) the International Relocation Payment,
