The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 123(4)(a) of the Education Act 2002( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) (Amendment) Order 2024 and comes into force on 30th October 2024.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment of the School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019

2. —(1) The School Teachers’ Incentive Payments (England) Order 2019( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In article 2(2)(d), for “Levelling Up Premium” substitute “Targeted Retention Incentive” .
